AUSBE's Missions are:

• To promote good industrial relations between the union and management for a harmonious and productive working environment
• To enhance the economic and social status of members by improving working conditions and promoting lifelong employability through continuous learning
• To work with management in the redesigning of jobs and continued employment after retirement for the benefit of our members
• To continuously organize new initiatives and programs to meet the needs and aspirations of members and to attract non-members to join the union
